This year Specialisterne Northern Ireland launched Digital Horizon – a new Digital Skills Academy, funded by The James Kane Foundation.
This academy is designed for neurodivergent individuals aged 18+ who are diagnosed or self-identify as autistic, dyslexic, dyspraxic and individuals who have ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, Dyscalculia or OCD.
With a focus on those living in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area, Digital Horizon empowers participants to:
- Gain IBM SkillsBuild Credentials
- Learn strategies for thriving in the workplace as a neurodivergent individual, through Specialisterne’s tailored curriculum
- Develop essential CV writing and interview preparation skills to boost confidence and employability
- Gain insights and meet different employers through weekly employer experience days.
